Fundations® Level 2 Teacher Training Resources

This is product is a set of instructional support materials I designed to help K-2 teachers deliver five core Fundations literacy routines with consistency and confidence: Drill Sounds, Introducing Trick Words, Word of the Day, and Dictation for Words and for Sentences. The project has two parts:

Training slide deck: A seven-slide PowerPoint that breaks each routine into simple, sequenced steps and pairs each one with a sample teacher script, so new or newer teachers can see what the routine looks like in practice.
Laminate-ready job aid: A one-page, landscape cheat-sheet that condenses each routine into quick steps, key phrases, and “watch for” reminders. Teachers can keep it at their teaching table for in-the-moment reference.

The materials use clear language, consistent structure, and color-coding to reduce prep time and support instructional fidelity. They follow performance-support principles: the deck is for learning, and the job aid is for use at the point of need.
