About Me
I’m Nadya Lorick, an instructional designer based in the NYC/NJ area. I came to this work through the classroo and every design decision I make still starts with one question: did the learner actually get it?
That question shapes how I work. I use data to find where learners are stuck and rebuild the experience around it, whether I’m designing for students or for fellow educators. I hold a Master of Science in Instructional Design & Technology, build in tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Canva, and explore how AI can speed up development without sacrificing quality.
When I design, I’m thinking about the busy person on the other side of the screen, the one with limited time, a real job to do, and every right to learning that respects both. Take a look around, and if you have a learning challenge in mind, I’d love to hear about it.

Mission
My mission is to design learning that people can use the same day they finish it. I turn complex tools, mandates, and skills into clear, hands-on experiences that give learners back their time and their confidence. I measure success by what learners can do afterward, not by completion screens alone. Every project I take on starts with the learner’s real work and ends with evidence that something changed.
Vision
Purposeful. I believe every element should earn its place, so I ask what each activity, graphic, and screen does for the learner and measure whether it worked. Inclusive. I design accessibility in from the start, not as a final check, and I treat every learner as capable and deserving of respect. Practical. I build learning that is hands-on, job-ready, and respectful of people’s time, because training that can’t be applied isn’t finished.
